Ok so you have seen some of our
sites and you probably like what we do - why wouldn't
you and now you want to know more about us and what
we do.
Ok where to start?
Primarily we focus on rugby. Yes, yes we know there
is more opportunity in other sports like Football and
probably even Boxing but at the end of the day Rugby
is the sport that we know about and that's the sport
we probably enjoy the most. It's also the first sport
that we started building websites for.
Simply because we focus primarily on rugby it does
not mean that we don't like Football and other sports
like Cricket because we cover those sports too. The
difference is that on sports other than Rugby we only
focus on the top level of those sports which is at the
World cup.
So how did it start ?
Our owner Lee Flello, got the Sports Digital Media
ball rolling back in 2001 when he registered the domain
name RugbyWorldCupWeb.com.
Lee wanted to go to the Rugby World cup in 2003 and
found that there was very little Rugby World cup information
around and while he was trawling the net in search of
Rugby World cup information he managed to build up a
database of information pertaining to the Rugby World
cups.
Realizing that he would not be alone in searching for
this information he decided to build a web site to share
this information with everyone else.
Two years later Lee did go to the Rugby World Cup and
RugbyWorldCupWeb.com
had developed into WorldCupWeb.com
and was the busiest independent Rugby World cup web
site on the internet.
After the Rugby World cup Lee got a little bored so
he started expanding on the web and what you see as
Sports Digital Media today is the result of this boredom.
What's next ? Well with our extensive list of globally
relevant domain names we expect nothing short of the
miracle of global domination of rugby content on the
